* the man who cut me off today
* the argument I had with my parents at dinner
* that I bit my canker sore really hard and it started bleeding... twice
* that it was a bad hair day
*that no one helped me with closing stuff at work
(so we left late...)
* and my nail polish chipped right after I painted them

but I probably won't forget the little boy who changed my day around.
Every morning in my prayers I pray that I can make a difference in someone's life (mom does it. I thought it was a good idea so now I do it too.) Anyways, I was on my way to the library to return a couple books when I saw a little boy crash and burn really hard on his bike (He's probably like 10 or so). I immediately pulled over, ran across the street (he was bawling really hard), and lifted his bike off of him. He had road rash all up his arm- luckily he was wearing a helmet. After asking him if he was ok- I offered to take him home... he said yes, I wheeled his bike to my car. Anyways to make a long story short- we both agreed it probably wasn't smart if he got in my car because I was a stranger, he couldn't get a hold of his mother so I drove to his house and told his mom what had happened. After a couple "Thank you-s" she went to get little Nathan.
I don't blog this story to toot my own horn or anything-
but I was shocked at how quickly my day turned around.
They always say that when you think about others,
It makes you happier.
I don't think I really understood that principle until today.
Thank You Nathan-
for teaching me a little bit more
about love and service.
