Austin and I went on our first date.
We met the previous Sunday. He spoke in church and I told him, 'good job.'
He got my number that night from another girl who got it from another boy...
We went to the BYU basketball game then out to Zupas after. Then we watched Get Smart. He walked me to the bottom of the apartment stairs (I lived on the second floor) and I got nervous or something so I just said, 'thanks- good night...' and hugged him awkwardly at the bottom of the stairs (I tell him he didn't walk me to the door on our first date- but it was my fault, ha) I didn't think he liked me- we're both a little shy. But he was the nicest guy I had ever met, cute too (which is always a perk). My mom asked how the date went, I told her he wasn't interested. The next week Megan and I hosted a pancake party at her apartment. I was so excited when he showed up and I pretty much asked him out on our second date... kind of.
Now one year later we are so happily married, and love every second we spend together. I'm so grateful for a wonderful husband who loves me, takes care of me, and supports me.
This is the pancake party... thank you flirty apron.
We went on so many way fun dates, I just never took pictures... sad.
