What's on my mind?

On facebook to change your status it says What's on your mind? But... I deactivated my account, it's kind of like a drug and I have been drug free for 4 days now- impressive I know. So, what's on your mind? I can't post it on facebook so here are just a couple things, haha-

1. Homeless people: weird I know but in one of my classes we were talking about them the other day. A homeless alcoholic Australian was interviewed and he said that the loneliness was much worse than being poor. I feel bad for homeless people.

2. Braces: I am sick of being a nerdy, 14 year-old looking 20-year old with braces. Girl + Braces does not = Boyfriend. Hopefully only 1 or 2 more months or something.

3. York Peppermint Patties: Yes I LOVE these guys and could probably live on them. I haven't had one for probably like 2 years or something and they are my favorite, favorite, favorite. Mom bought them for me for Easter! I think in heaven they will grow on trees.

4. Brown Paper Sacks: For my creative writing class I made a book out of brown paper sacks because we are all kind of like brown paper sacks. Nobody knows what's inside of us: our thoughts, experiences, or knowledge and nobody can comprehend our unique potential. We tend to make prejudgments of people by outward appearances which generally aren't accurate so we all kind of live a lie... I hand sewed this book and it's about all the lies, misconceptions, and myths we live (and tell kids).

5. Furless Cats: I hate birds. Snakes are nasty. Fish stink. Gerbils bite. Spiders creep me out. I don't want a dog. My poor kids, what are they going to have as a pet? a furless cat. Yes they are ugly but they don't shed and if you get it when it's just a kitten you can train it. I want a furless cat. If I never get married I am going to move to NYC have 10 furless cats and feed them steaks. I'll take them on walks- like dogs and they'll be my children.

6. Summer: RED ALERT (i've said that a lot lately)- it's almost summer and I am so excited! I am going to run, read, bike, tan, swim, paint, sew, and run some more- all summer long. I can't wait. I need another job though, just part time, in the morning, 15 hours/week, if you hear of something please, PLEASE, let me know!

7. Beards: I have started to notice a current trend- beards: 21-25 year old boys like growing beards. Is it because they are lazy and don't want to shave or do they want to show their manliness? probably both. I can't decide if it's cute or disgusting. Depends on the man, depends on the day.
